Are you in the midst of divorce proceedings and things are difficult? We provide divorce coaching.
What is Divorce coaching? It’s a way to coach you to have a peaceful divorce.
Are you thinking things such as:
- They are treating me unfairly
- He/She is being unreasonable
- He/She is taking too much
- They are bullying me
- They don’t respect my part in this partnership
- He/She is abusing me
What if there was a way to come to the proceedings in a more calm, unemotional state? What if you could be in a place of understanding clearly what you want and be able to articulate that without blame or remorse?
As the Family Court of Australia says:
Reaching an agreement with the other party offers many advantages, such as: you make your own decisions you greatly reduce the financial and emotional costs of legal proceedings your continuing relationship as parents, if you have children, is likely to work better you are able to move forward and make a new life for yourself, and you may improve communication with your former partner and be better able to resolve disputes in the future.
What is divorce coaching?
The divorce coaching we provide to you is all about assisting you to create peace for yourself in divorce. We work with you to explore the beliefs that you have about your partner that are stopping you from being in that calm unemotional space. We help you to gain the clarity of what will and won’t work for you, so that you can then express it clearly.
I’ve been through a divorce myself, so I understand how difficult it can be to get to a place of mutuality for both you and your soon to be ex-partner. Emotion runs high given the time that you have spent together and the situation you’re in. The situation is tense whether you are the one leaving or the one being left. It’s even more difficult with children involved.
The Work of Byron Katie is a process of self-inquiry. It is about looking at what you are thinking and believing so that you can bring a sense of calmness and clarity to otherwise stressful situations, those situations where you suffer.
Would you commit to inquiring into your stressful thoughts about your partner, twice a week for three months in order to come to a place where you can negotiate settlement of your divorce? That is three hours of your time a week. How much is your peace of mind worth? How would a peaceful divorce feel to you?
Our service is for YOU.
You can feel different about this whole situation.
And take that changed you into your new life or future relationship.
If your partner is also willing to participate, then it will provide an even smoother transition for you both.
It doesn’t need both partners to inquire for their to be a changed outcome though.
